Attendance

At the World Management Agility Forum Gala Dinner is contingent upon adherence to the Black Tie dress code.

This means that all guests are expected to dress in formal attire, as outlined in the dress code guidelines provided below. Failure to comply with the dress code will result in denial of entry to the gala dinner.

We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this dress code to ensure that the gala dinner remains a formal and elegant occasion for all guests.

Men's Attire
  • Traditional Option: A classic black tuxedo with a matching vest or cummerbund is the most traditional and esteemed choice for men. Black shoes as well.
  • Bow Tie Finishing: A black silk bow tie completes the formal look, whether paired with a tuxedo or suit. A self-tied bow tie adds a touch of traditional grace, while a pre-tied bow tie is also acceptable.
  • Alternative Option: While tuxedos exude timeless elegance, a black suit with a black tie is also appropriate and considered a sophisticated alternative. Ensure the suit is of high quality and well-fitting, and opt for a plain black silk or satin tie.
  • Essentials: A crisp white dress shirt with a French cuff or with a single-button cuff is a must for both tuxedo and suit attire. Avoid patterned or overly casual shirts that detract from the formal ambiance.
  • Dress Shoes: Black patent leather dress shoes are the standard footwear for Black Tie events. Polished shoes in excellent condition elevate your overall appearance.
  • Accessorizing with Style: A white pocket square and cufflinks subtly enhance your ensemble. Avoid overdoing it with accessories, as too many can diminish the elegance of the Black Tie attire.
Women's Attire
  • Most Formal Option: A floor-length evening gown is the epitome of sophistication and grace for women at Black Tie events.
  • Alternative Option: A very formal cocktail dress is another elegant choice for women. Ensure the dress is long enough to cover the knees and features a sophisticated design that exudes refinement.
  • Jewelry with Elegance: Choose understated jewelry that complements your attire without overpowering it. Avoid excessively flashy or trendy pieces that detract from the formal setting.
  • Hair and Makeup with Grace: Keep your hair and makeup elegant and sophisticated.

General Tips

Accessorize Sparingly: Few well-chosen accessories can elevate your outfit, but too many can make you look overdressed.

Get Pampered: Take the time to pamper yourself before the event with a manicure and pedicure to ensure you look your best.

Arrive Early: Arrive early to check in, relax, and mingle with other guests, allowing time to settle into the elegant atmosphere.

Embrace the Experience: A Black Tie gala dinner is an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of collaboration and innovation. Relax, have fun, and enjoy the company of fellow attendees, making unforgettable memories.

Where to buy the right attire: In Portugal, close to the hotel, you can get to Colombo’s mall, where you can find Zara store, Massimo Dutti Store, Decenio Store, Sacoor Brothers Store, all very affordable and easy. SuperQuick store also in Colombo Mall can fix any cloth arrangements.
